Executive Assistant
Position Description:

CGI is seeking a positive and professional Executive Assistant with excellent organizational and time management skills. Preference is for someone willing to be in the office 3 full days a week and a successful track record of support.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work closely with executives on administrative and operational initiatives
• Tasks include, but are not limited to:
-Keen calendar management for executives
-Overseeing all scheduling activities for the leadership team
-Assisting in setting up and running meetings and events (internal and external); Mastering current meeting and conference room technology
-Managing local, national, and international travel logistics
-Completing assigned project work and ad hoc data requests, as needed
-Obtaining and submitting signature approvals for executives in the unit
-Collaborate with administrative teams across the business unit as well as within the enterprise to ensure efficient coordination of schedules, meetings, and events

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• High school diploma and 4-6 years of demonstrated success supporting a busy, executive team with a positive, can-do attitude
• Experience in Federal Contracting
• Proven ability to manage heavily overscheduled calendars through the use of Outlook; including the judgment to screen meeting and message requests to determine appropriate priority level and forethought during local travel to plan out logistics and determine alternative plans
• Analytical thinker who can identify and weigh different options for solving problems and then make an independent decision on how best to resolve issues
• Experience with face paced and quickly changing environments with the ability to adjust accordingly
• Strong organizational skills are essential
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as MS Teams
• Strong written and oral communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executive level managers and customers
• Willingness to build and nurture relationships across the enterprise and with key external stakeholders
• Initiative and creativity to come up with ways to improve efficiency and organization; constant learning and organizational improvement
• Energetic, executive presence and positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• SharePoint experience a plus
• Ability to remain calm when situations occur and resolve them quickly and professionally; unflappable
• Ability to handle confidential material appropriately
• Ability to work outside of business hours as needed (not expected at all times)



CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $115,000.00.
