What is the opportunity?
In the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support to a variety of teams within the investment management division of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), a North American-based asset manager with global scope and industry leading investment management capabilities. RBC GAM manages approximately C$680 billion in assets worldwide on behalf of institutional and individual investors through mutual funds, pooled funds, hedge funds, segregated accounts and specialty investment strategies. What will you do?
Provide administrative support to investment team members.
Independently schedule/coordinate regular team meetings, monitor deadlines, compile reports and email participants.
Print out/photocopy/bind materials for meetings as requested and prepare meeting minutes if required.
Travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and prepare detailed itineraries.
Complete expense reports and reconcile Visa statements on a timely basis.
Special project work or administrative tasks as required.
Responsible for maintaining and updating team vacation calendar and absentee records.
Assist with answering HR questions.
Provide coverage/support to other admins as well as reception/office staff.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (including written)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Outlook
Proactive, well organized, able to deal with multiple tasks and changing priorities
Able to work independently, self-motivated, eager and able to learn
High level of professionalism and discretion
Nice to Have
Knowledge of financial and investment Industry
Good human resources management skills
