Job Summary

Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the Vice President, Commercial Financial Services. You must be organized, flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is results-driven and partnership-oriented. Using a high degree of judgment and discretion, you will work independently to prepare correspondence, respond to calls and emails and manage calendars to maximize the Vice President’s time and productivity.

What will you do?

Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Vice President including: managing extremely active calendars, completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for meetings; organizing and planning bank and community eventsAct as the primary point of contact for internal and external partnersPlan, coordinate and ensure the Vice President’s schedule is followed and respectedResearch, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns including discreet handling of issues that are sensitive or confidentialWork closely with the Commercial leadership team on various special projects as required

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platformsDemonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilityVery strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, external partners and donorsStrong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detailHighly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

Nice-to-have

Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in the financial services industryRecent branch experience would be considered an asset
