Executive Assistant
Description We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this role, you will be providing technical support for virtual and hybrid meeting environments, managing virtual meeting records, and assisting with the coordination of multimedia equipment. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Provide ongoing technical support for platforms like Zoom and Teams, along with resolving hardware/software intersection issues. • Set up and operate audio and video equipment for meetings and presentations, including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, and more. • Manage the County’s Zoom account, offering training and technical support, communicating about planned outages and upgrades, and monitoring for conflicts. • Handle the storage of virtual meeting records and track service outages, updates, and changes to virtual meeting software. • Assist in designing, recommending, and implementing standards and templates for virtual meeting software and meeting standards. • Ensure proper operation of sound and visual systems during various public meetings. • Adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings when required. • Help with the selection and regular maintenance of multimedia equipment. • Carry out other activities as required, demonstrating the ability to work independently and prioritize work schedules. Requirements • Proficiency in Calendar Management is needed to organize and schedule appointments • Excellent Communication skills are crucial for interacting with internal and external stakeholders • Experience with Conference Calls is required for effective remote communication • Ability to handle Correspondence including emails, letters, and other forms of communication • Capability to Provide Technical Support and resolve any arising issues • Skill to Resolve Technical Problems swiftly and effectively • Experience in Coordinating Meetings including logistics, attendees, and documentation • Expertise in Back Office Support tasks such as database management and document control • Knowledge of overall Technical Support is required for smooth office operations TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
