(CED) is a privately held electrical distribution company with more than 700 locations nationwide. CED is seeking a confidential, conscientious, and proactive Executive Assistant with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills. This position will report to the VP of Finance and Administration, and will also support the President, company executives and other management at our Service Center in Irving, TX. Reports to: VP of Finance and Administration Minimum Qualifications: + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and mathematical skills ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: + Ability to discreetly handle highly confidential and sensitive matters + Outstanding time management and organizational skills + Adept at relationship building and working with all types of individuals + Ability to manage projects and exercise judgment to ensure quality and timely execution + Detail oriented, accurate, and tenacious Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree Working Conditions: This position operates in a professional office environment and may require sitting for extended periods of time. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Coordinate company events including venue management, food & beverage, AV and vendor management, transportation, and administrative tasks + Transcribe confidential meeting notes, update company documents, and manage archives and libraries + Review and process expenses and expense reports for reimbursement + Compose and edit correspondence regarding internal company announcements + Prepare onboarding materials and communication to managers for new hires + Create, manage, and report training schedules for CED's management trainees + Communicate with CED's vendors to obtain and maintain specific program information + Reconcile vendor rebates ensuring proper allocation to CED's Profit Centers + Facilitate the receipt of documentation from CED's Profit Centers, and distribute information and reports to field management + Support CED's Disaster Assistance Team through targeted communication with employees, researching temporary housing, and ensuring adequate inventory of local and national supplies and materials + Provide support to other departments' management teams as needed CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran
