Executive Assistant - BD Advanced Patient Monitoring

Becton Dickinson (BD) recently completed the acquisition of the Edwards Critical Care business.  This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future.  Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach.   BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care. Provide administrative support to assigned department, individual, and/or area.

How you will make an impact:

Manage schedule and calendar of management with attention to accuracy and detail, including keeping Executive informed of calendar changes and change requestsUse all computer programs relevant to the position to support development of correspondence, presentations, such as tracking and charting metrics data, and to perform data entry and report generation in support of a department, significant organizational group, or executive level managementEnsure the preparation of information, documents, and logistics for assigned department, significant organizational group, or executive level managementPerform general administrative activities including screening and directing phone calls, filing as well as composing and typing general correspondence under limited directionSchedule domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures, to optimize use of Executive's time and schedulePlan and execute meetings and events with some supervisionOther incidental duties

What you’ll need (required):

H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of directly related experience including executive administrative support

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $96,000 (highly experienced).
