What is the opportunity?

To provide highly professional and efficient Executive support to the Head of Europe & APAC Global Investment Banking while undertaking a wide range of administrative and EA duties with minimal guidance.

What will you do?

Complex diary management, anticipating the requirements and priorities of Head of Europe & APAC Global Investment BankingEffectively managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.Manage inboxes for urgent items and for meeting materials.Arrange travel and accommodation using online system (Concur) and prepare itinerariesProcess expenses in a timely manner using online system (Concur)Responding in a professional manner to incoming phone calls and relaying accurate informationPreparation of materials for key meetings, including agendas, meeting minutes, actions tracking and when required preparation of PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel spreadsheetsCo-ordinating monthly and quarterly submissions to Committee and/or Board meetings, including managing submitters/reviewers in-line with deadlinesEvents management as required, in-line with strategic priorities, including but not limited to employee engagement events, town halls, off/onsites and other ad hoc events as required EA assistance to senior visitors/business heads from RBC overseas officesMaintaining organisation charts for all RBC entities in Europe, as relevant for primaries and team distribution listsMaintaining accurate holiday and absence records for primaries and their teamsProactively acts as the Liaison and contact to the Business and Functional partners

Collaborative approach with colleaguesHardworking, enthusiastic and professional work ethic.Flexible approach to out of hours workingPro-active style and ability to prioritise, to pre-empt and multi task, with ability to work independently and as a team playerMature, calm, diplomatic and professional approach at all timesExperienced EA with ability to work independently.Strong organisation skills at all levels involving a high level of attention to detail across all tasksAdvanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience of supporting Executives within Financial ServicesStrong communication skills (both vocal and written) with tact and diplomacy and ability to converse with senior management.Calm and flexible nature in terms of dealing with urgent requests and situations.A broad experience of dealing with a wide range of different personalities and workloads.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills.Good time management.Advance knowledge of Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to quickly learn internal IT systems.
