We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Alternative. The successful candidate must have experience handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and be able to work well within a team in an environment of constantly changing priorities. Experience at a network production company, agency, or management company is preferred. The candidate must be vocal, passionate, and driven.
Responsibilities
+ Support management of inboxes, calendars, mail, department trackers, incoming pitches, meeting agendas, and contacts.
+ Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, photocopying, scanning, answering calls, detailing messages, ordering office supplies, and managing talent/executive gifts.
+ Attend meetings and take detailed notes. Distribute notes, follow up materials, and action items.
+ Handle highly confidential materials and information in a discrete manner.
+ Interface with other departments including marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, research, creative, and production.
+ Manage corporate purchasing, expense report processing via Concur.
+ Create and maintain detailed travel itineraries.
+ Support and collaborate with creative executives.
+ Provide research support in the development of new projects.
+ Handle special projects as needed.
+ Give creative input and feedback on ideas, TV shows, and books.
+ Aspire to be an executive or producer in reality TV.

+ BA/BS degree preferred
+ Minimum 2 years of prior experience as an Administrative Assistant in the entertainment industry, unscripted preferred

+ Creative thinking and willingness to collaborate
+ Effective listening and communication skills
+ Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
+ Attention to detail and accuracy
+ Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ Initiative and proactiveness in all matters
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BA/BS degree preferred
+ Minimum 2 years of prior experience as an Administrative Assistant in the entertainment industry, unscripted preferred
+ Willingness to work in-office five days a week
Work Environment
The position requires working in-office five days a week. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interfacing with multiple departments including marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, research, creative, and production. Proficiency in various software applications like Outlook, Word, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential. The role demands a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00
