Based in Franklin, KY, with additional facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, the Berry Global Tapes business is a leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive tapes (specialty, foil, film, and duct) and adhesives. Offering more than 1,500 specialty SKUs across 500+ distinct product families to its diverse base of 1,500+ customers, the Tapes Business provides specialty tapes and adhesives products to top customers serving the HVAC, Building & Construction, Industrial, Retail, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and other specialty industries. Berry Global recently announced that Nautic Partners, LLC will acquire the Tapes business in early 2025.
PURPOSE: The Tapes business seeks a highly skilled executive assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our executive leaders, reporting directly to the Marketing Leader with a dotted line to the Tapes Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions and supporting communication efforts.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the Tapes CEO in a one-on-one capacity, organizing and coordinating executive outreach and external relations efforts and overseeing special projects. You will work directly with the executive leadership team to ensure seamless execution and communication across the organization and with the marketing team to support communications and event management.
Your ability to exercise sound judgment in a variety of situations and your administrative and organizational skills, coupled with your strong written and verbal communication, will be key to your success. The selected individual will make an impact by maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities, ensuring that the executive team and corporate projects are managed effectively and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesMeeting, Event, and Travel Management
Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary.Manage event registrations, logistics, travel, and payments for large tradeshows, events, and conferences.Prepare meeting agendas, distribute materials, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure seamless meetings.Manage merchandise and literature orders for events and tradeshowsBook travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation, and manage detailed itineraries for the executive team.Proactively manage the executive's calendar by scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls, including conflict resolution and prioritization.Project and Data Management
Assist with project coordination, including timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track.Gather presentation materials and data, compile reports, and communicate cross-functionally to support decision-making.Process and submit expense reports accurately and efficiently. Perform related duties as required and assigned, contributing to the team's overall success.Confidentiality and Communication
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and the utmost discretion.Draft, edit, and distribute emails, letters, and presentations on behalf of the executive team, ensuring clear and professional communication. Administration of marketing and communication platforms, including social media and web user management.Management/organization of communication and literature materials, including printed material inventory and print-on-demand availability.Preparing and editing corporate marketing materials. Qualifications5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role.Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Ability to focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Capable of adjusting to changing priorities and work demands.Expert in MS Suites (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
