Job Description

"Meet the Press with Kristen Welker,” the longest-running television show in history, is looking for an Executive Assistant with exceptional research skills and attention to detail. This person should have a demonstrated passion for politics, and professional initiative to support the brand across its platforms.

Responsibilities:

Support Moderator and Senior Vice President with scheduling and expensesSupport team with administrative coordination and planningBook travel as neededProduce guest research and write questions for “Meet the Press” Moderator and ProducersGenerate and pitch show ideas and program guestsAssist with show production, including graphics and tape elements, as neededAssist with broadcast guestsAssist with show transcription effortsProduce content for show website and social media platformsWork closely with Executive Producer, Moderator, Senior Producer and ProducersEffectively collaborate with show staff

QualificationsBachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experienceMust be willing to work in Washington, D.C.Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesMust be available to work Saturdays & Sundays, as well as evenings and holidays as required

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
