Executive Assistant to CEO and Trustees

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the coordination of activities and information to and from the Office of the President. The position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The role also serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and senior management team; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts, and oversees special projects as assigned by the President. The Executive Assistant to the President will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree with experience

Preferred:

● Master's Degree in Business Administration or related

● Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field


Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

Minimum of 5 years senior executive level administrative support

Preferred:

Previous experience supporting a President/CEO

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

● Strong verbal and written communication skills, administrative skills, including taking meeting minutes, organizational and problem-solving skills

● Demonstrated calendar management skills including the coordination of complex meetings

● Advanced knowledge of concurrent business systems (i.e. Google Suiteprograms: documents, sheets, slides and forms; board portal management software, audio-visual equipment)

● Ability to work independently; Critical thinking, solid judgment and decision-making capabilities

● Ability to multi-task; time management skills adaptable to various competing demands; works well under pressure balancing multiple priorities

● Acute attention to detail and accuracy

● Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
