Executive Assistant to EVP/CEO
Position Summary Provides advanced level of administrative assistance and support to an Executive Vice President and the President/Chief Executive Officer. Performs various duties required in order to facilitate the flow of work within the EVP's administrative offices and ensures cost effective measures of operation and optimal lines of communication. Minimum Qualifications Work Experience Three years of progressively responsible administrative assistant experience required.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or related field required.

  Maintains calendar of Executive Vice President of upcoming activities and meetings. Receives, reviews, and processes incoming correspondence noting priority to responsible individuals assuring adequate and timely follow-up.  Composes responses to routine correspondence on own initiative. Ensures telephone calls are answered promptly and professionally and routes accordingly. Determines nature of call/visit and provides appropriate response, guidance and/or direction to appropriate individuals and/or departments. Refers more complex issues appropriately. Receives, sorts and distributes incoming departmental mail. Provides clerical assistance to administrative staff through the accurate preparation of correspondence, reports, etc.  Prepares and/or assists with preparation of miscellaneous correspondence/documents (letters, agendas, minutes, charts, agreements, reports). Provides general clerical support to include distribution of materials, filing, faxing, and copying. Performs administrative functions such as but not limited to: making travel arrangements, preparing and processing expense reports, processing purchase requisitions and reviewing and maintaining contracts. Assists in the coordination and implementation of various public relations activities and attends such activities where indicated. Coordinates and prepares for numerous standing and called meetings.  Makes meeting arrangements to include scheduling, reserving meeting rooms, sending out meeting announcements, material preparation, etc. Maintains necessary documentation to meet regulatory requirements.  Prepares, types and distributes minutes for assigned meetings.
