This role is the “front-line” representative of the Finance Department, which consists of: the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Treasury, Investor Relations and Tax and will also be supporting the Chief Legal Officer. Specifically, the role provides the full range of executive-level support for the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, including but not limited to, the proactive management of calendars, seamless coordination of travel and logistics, independent preparation of reports and PowerPoint presentations, and serves as the initial point of contact for the Company’s financial and investor community. Consistently high levels of service and professionalism are required in this role. The role also provides general administrative support for the Director of Risk, VP of Tax, Director of Investor Relations and Director of Corporate Insurance & Risk.
Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and distribute long-term incentive plan reports for UGI stock and APU units. Incumbent must be able to analyze Bloomberg data, incorporate same into Excel and calculate rank/stock price and payout ratios. Prepare materials, presentations and reports for the CFO and Treasury Department for UGI/AmeriGas Board of Directors and respective Pension Committees. Organize meeting logistics, set up presentation laptops and projection equipment, and ensure that same is operating properly. Prepare and distribute APU partnership unit and UGI stock reports showing monthly option and stock buyback activity. Review (for accuracy) and process all Finance Department invoices for payment in accordance with the Company’s cost center and cost element coding, including but not limited to, invoices related to the UGI Retirement Income Savings Plan and Trust, and Investor Relations activities. Review (for accuracy) and issue outgoing wire transfers for the international holding companies. Maintain, prepare and sign-off on reports reflecting issuance activity. Serve as a back-up resource for review and issuance of outgoing wire transfers for domestic companies. Prepare/issue DWAC requests/letters for members of the Company’s Board of Directors. Serve as “front line/first contact” for the financial and investor community for UGI and AmeriGas. Responsible for fielding basic questions from the public, investors, shareholders, analysts, bankers, media, and vendors on a daily basis and referring inquiries to appropriate Finance Department personnel. Together with Director – Investor Relations, draft, finalize and issue Press Releases according to Full Disclosure regulations, i.e., notification of NYSE, Business Wire, etc. Maintain database of facsimile and email lists for Press Releases and quarterly conference calls. Prepare presentations for Investor Relations for meetings with investor/financial communities, rating agencies, road show, etc. Incumbent must have excellent mathematical skills and be able to calculate return on equity, dividend growth rate, price to earnings ratios, etc. Preparation and organization of quarterly earnings conference calls, live web cast and telephone replays hosted by the CEO/CFO and Senior Management. Monitor media outlets and keep management abreast of industry and competitor news, and other important events, on a daily basis. Organize and execute all travel and logistics for roadshow meetings. Manage/maintain Company websites (UGI Corporation-entire site and AmeriGas-investor relations only), including among other things, posting the monthly weather figures for AmeriGas and UGI Utilities, posting of updated Corporate Governance documents and posting of press releases and events/presentations. The incumbent is the primary contact for Webmaster. Independently compose internal/external memos and letters for review in response to letters received by the Finance Department. Monitor and promptly respond to/resolve questions and comments received on Company websites. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to prioritize and execute multiple functions on a daily basis. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate (publicly-traded company) and division business operations and services. Understand the business function of the NYSE, SEC and PUC organizations. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Discretion and strict confidentiality. Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Education and Experience High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. At least four years of related experience required.
