The Executive Briefing Center Events Coordinator position will assist the events team with large and small events taking place within our Executive Briefing Center and assist with welcoming and catering to attendees and company partners. The Coordinator will file/order supplies, recommend, propose, and negotiate with others to ensure efficient processes are being conducted for meeting planning.
The Executive Briefing Center Events Coordinator will report to the EBC Team Lead. This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Logistics for all events including Travel, Lodging, Meeting Location/s, Catering and reservations, Offsite Activities, Transportation, Assisting with guest arrival, Speaker coordination, Scheduling of DCF, EIC and CIC tours, Customer giftsMeet and greet with company employees, customers, and partners throughout eventsAnticipate and meet customer needs while meetings are being conducted on-siteCoordinate with marketing teams in planning larger events for customers, Summits and HuddlesAnswer questions from users and attendees about eventsProvide hands on customer service at assigned Summit/Huddles duties which could include travel desk, catering orders, breakout session, bus logistics or luggage storage at the EBCMaintain Master Tracking Report including but not limited to Expenses, Attendees, Presenters and Assist with ROI Review on smaller meetingsCover Executive Briefing Center Receptionist as neededRequires being “on call” on Sunday’s for Monday eventsExpected to maintain a business professional attire Qualifications High School DiplomaCustomer Service ExperienceOffice Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Required Skills Personable with strong customer service skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to learn and have a working understanding briefing center equipmentAbility to handle unanticipated changes and needs quickly and smoothlyStrong attention to detail and the ability to establish priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to handle sensitive private information and personal belongings of guests with respect and confidentialityAbility to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy with all guests and teamsAbility and willingness to work, both independently and as part of a teamTime management, and prioritization skillsAbility to work in a team environment that is fast moving and has simultaneous projects active.Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in pressure situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during assignmentPreferred Skills & Qualifications:

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
