Executive Business Manager CAO for SSBI, Vice President (M/F/D) - Hybrid

Who we are looking for:

The SSBI Executive Business Manager role plays a critical role in the tactical and strategic management of all aspects of the Executive Management Board Member support.

Introducing the role aims to enhance the way business management requests are handled in SSBI and stop relying solely on the EMB Members to execute on the strategic/special request, i.e. strategic initiatives/issues/special situations, transformation/innovation/forward looking requests.

Introducing the role will help to redirect EMB focus from execution into execution oversight whilst continuously focusing on the SSBI Transformation.

SSBI Executive Business Manager will form part of the Virtual Business Management Network in SSBI.

What you will also be responsible for:

Maintains primary focus on business management support for the respective Executive Management Board Member and/or SSBI Country Head, managing priorities and facilitating communication flow across the relevant functions and/or at the country level

Acts as the central point of contact for business management requests for EMB and/or SSBI Country Head and/or SSBI horizontal requests and is being responsible for engaging all relevant functions for execution and delivery

Supports or leads selected strategic and tactical efforts or special requests by effectively leading projects across multiple areas, i.e. cross-functional initiatives, country level or SSBI wide strategic initiatives, transformation/innovation/forward looking requests

Acts as representative / delegate for the EMB/SSBI Country Head on selected committees or other relevant meetings

Builds strong relationship across the Executive Management Board and relevant senior functional management

Actively identifies and implements relevant process changes with focus on effective governance

Contributes into strong risk and control culture at the SSBI country level and across SSBI

Maintains and optimizes agreed set of country level MIS and dashboard

Qualifications and Skills include:

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in roles including strategy, regulatory, leading global programs, and executing a portfolio of efforts with staff management

Advanced master’s degree (e.g., MBA, Law degree or similar)

Sound understanding of regulatory risks and how to manage them

Fluent in English and German

Good technical skills in SSBI systems, as well as PowerPoint and Excel

Global mindset and ability to think strategically across multiple business areas whilst being Subject Matter Expert on Governance and Regulatory Requirements

Strong leadership skills, driving results, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability with and w/o direct mgmt. lines, ‘can do attitude’

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, quickly adapting to changing priorities and overcoming challenges

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and innovative solutions with a dedication to deliver tangible results
