**Position Summary:** Responsible for providing premium-level guests with the best possible experience. The Executive Host is responsible for identifying and acquiring premium resort guests both internally and externally by executing programs. The Executive Casino Host builds premium guest loyalty using sales and marketing techniques that foster an exclusive guest relationship and generate gaming revenue as determined by management. **About Us:** At Gun Lake Casino Resort, every Team Member is an ambassador, essential to the success of our company and our culture. Respect everyone, all persons, and all the things created. **Bravery** : To do what is right, even in the most difficult of times. **Honesty** : Be honest in every action and provide good feelings in your heart. **Wisdom** : We cherish knowledge; wisdom is used for the good of the people. **Humility** : Know that you are equal to everyone else, no better, no less. **In this Role:** + Acquires and develops new high-worth guests for premium gaming spaces. + Tracks activity and preferences of each premium guest, and then tailors offers and incentives that appeal directly to the interest of individuals. + Responsible for meeting or exceeding predetermined goals and measurable objectives established by management for daily calls and written correspondence to active, inactive, and potential new guests. + Handles all aspects of guest journey (ground transportation, hotel accommodation, dining reservation, entertainment, folio clearance at checkout). + Works effectively as a collaborative Team Member with others within the Marketing, Table Games, Slots, and Hospitality supervisory teams to identify areas of opportunity and address areas of concern when necessary. + Maintains thorough knowledge of the latest industry developments, current market trends, and all on-property and competitor promotions/events. + Monitors guest participation and tracks guest feedback to determine the effectiveness of events and promotions. + Attends and hosts player onsite/offsite events in various areas as assigned by management. + Utilize provided software to manage guest profitability and communications and to build portfolios of Guests’ preferences and hobbies to be used for better marketing and communication. + Assists in the development and execution of special events and promotions for VIP Guests; with an emphasis on events that generate new business leads for the Company. + Serves as a mentor for the Player Development Team and other Team Members interested in Player Development; providing ongoing training and coaching on telemarketing approaches, growth strategies, guest opportunities, and various other job-related techniques + Assist Guests with establishing check-cashing privileges and credit accounts. + Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service Standards.” + Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty. + Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment. + Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities promptly. + Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management. + Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards. + All other duties as assigned. **Essential Qualifications:** + Must be 21+ years of age. + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Business or related field preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. + Four (4) years of previous casino hosting experience with a proven track record of business growth is preferred. + Must have general knowledge and understanding of casino games. + Must possess a strong outgoing, enthusiastic, and friendly personality. + Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work. + Must have the ability to interact with Guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. + Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions. + Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, with the ability to learn and comprehend new programs. + Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to have flexible hours and willingness to adjust the schedule to meet business demands. + Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission. **Physical Requirements:** + Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. + Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment. + Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift. + Must have the ability to access all properties and areas. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance. + Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer. + Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel. **Work Conditions:** Work is typically in an office environment or out on the casino floor; however, additional work areas may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area.
