**Position Summary:** The Executive Casino Host (Asian Market) is responsible for enhancing the growth of gaming revenues and visitation of high-worth Asian market guests through the development of a targeted customer-base while adhering to the Company's standards, policies, and procedures. **About Us:** At Gun Lake Casino Resort, every Team Member is an ambassador, essential to the success of our company and our culture. Respect everyone, all persons, and all the things created. **Bravery** : To do what is right, even in the most difficult of times. **Honesty** : Be honest in every action and provide good feelings in your heart. **Wisdom** : We cherish knowledge; wisdom is used for the good of the people. **Humility** : Know that you are equal to everyone else, no better, no less. **In this Role:** + Identify and develop personal relationships with new and first-time Asian market guests. + Must be responsible for promoting a positive influence in the Asian market community and participating in company-sponsored events. + Required to be present at off-property Asian market events in the community including but not limited to: golfing events, trade shows, store openings, and dinner parties. + Responsible for the creation of Asian market events, gaming and non-gaming. + Responsible for increasing gaming revenue and developing plans accordingly. + Utilize provided software to manage guest profitability and communications and to build portfolios of Guests’ preferences and hobbies to be used for better marketing and communication. + Analyze data as needed for determination of “high-end” players. + Develop relationships with Guests and the property through telemarketing, email marketing, direct mail, and in-person contact. + Proactively networks with existing Guests and various social/professional circles to bring new business to the property. + Resolves guest opportunities, conflicts, and complaints on behalf of the company in a fair and equitable manner. + Makes decisions regarding guest complementaries based on a consideration of rated play, earned points, reinvestment guidelines, and overall profitability. + Achieves departmental sales and growth goals. + Actively involved and knowledgeable with property special events and promotions. + Assists in the development and execution of special events and promotions for VIP Guests. + Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “Unsurpassed Service Standards.” + Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment. + Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities promptly. + Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management. + Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards. + All other duties as assigned. **Essential Qualifications:** + Must be 21+ years of age. + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. + Previous guest service experience with the Asian market community required. Must have a cultural understanding of the Asian market. + Four (4) years of previous sales, telemarketing, hospitality, or gaming experience is preferred. + Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission. **Physical Requirements:** + Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. + Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment. + Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift. + Must have the ability to access all properties and areas. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance. + Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer. + Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel. **Work Conditions:** Work is typically in an office environment or on the casino floor; however, additional work areas may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area.
