The Good Eating Company is seeking a creative open-minded Executive Chef for our client in Washington, DC. This position is great for candidates who are Sous Chefs and are ready to take on additional responsibilities.
This is a hands-on and culinary role that will focus on the continued growth of our business dining account. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America. Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when servedAre strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses; salads; sauce work; and pastry and bakingHave a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisineRecognizing and reacting to contemporary trendsUse of correct food terminology and cooking methodsConstantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a wholePlay a key role and enthusiastically mentor’s culinary personnel

What We Offer
Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
