Quintero Golf Club is thrilled to offer an exceptional career opportunity for a dedicated and innovative Executive Chef. We seek a culinary leader who will excel in a dynamic hospitality environment, demonstrating a commitment to superior service, high-quality cuisine, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain Culinary Standards: Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to safe work practices, industry sanitation standards, and applicable health codes. Menu Development & Quality Control: Create standardized recipes for consistent portion control, taste, and quality. Regularly test new products, recipes, and cooking methods to enhance menu offerings. Procurement & Inventory: Complete market lists, order necessary ingredients, and inspect deliveries for quality and freshness. Operational Oversight: Lead and supervise food preparation, including portion control, menu planning, cost management, and quality assurance. Assist with developing and adhering to the kitchen’s monthly budget. Team Leadership & Training: Participate in the hiring and onboarding kitchen staff, conducting training programs, setting work schedules, and defining role expectations. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to plan and execute special events and club functions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with culinary trends by networking with other chefs and visiting kitchens to explore new techniques and equipment. Reporting & Administrative Duties: Prepare inventory reports, budget forecasts, and weekly schedules; monitor daily payroll, overtime, absenteeism, and accidents.
Qualifications: Minimum Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree or Culinary Degree required. Minimum of two years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef. Certifications: Food Safety and Sanitation Training certification. Skills: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Expertise in culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and staff management. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive kitchen environment.
