The Opportunity:
Valley Country Club is seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and enhance the member dining experience. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and lead a talented culinary team to achieve excellence in food preparation and service. Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented kitchen culture. Member Experience: Design and execute diverse and exciting menus for multiple dining outlets, events, and new spaces, ensuring the highest quality and presentation. Create exceptional experiences tailored to the preferences of our members. Measured Business Leadership: Bring a strategic and measured approach to managing business metrics within the culinary department, including food cost management, labor efficiency, and financial performance. Use data and insights to drive decisions and achieve department goals. Culinary Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing new techniques and menu concepts that elevate the club’s offerings while respecting its traditions and values. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including budgeting, inventory management, food safety, and compliance. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and organization. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to plan and execute member events, special occasions, and seasonal promotions. Build strong relationships with members and contribute to the club’s vibrant community.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a private club, resort, or upscale dining environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff. Expertise in menu development, culinary trends, and diverse cuisines. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage business metrics, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and creating memorable moments for members.

Compensation: $125,000 / annually
