Job Description:

At Regions, the Executive Compensation consultant develops, implements, analyzes and monitors compensation programs for executives, officers, and other top key positions, including long-term and short-term incentive plans, financial and tax treatment of compensation programs, and disclosure.

Primary Responsibilities

Applies specialized executive compensation knowledge to implement programs and initiativesContributes to program designWorks closely on financials, board compensation, and proxy dataPrepares communication on compensation related topicsAssists with the preparation of the Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) and other compensation related items for the proxy statementAssists with the preparation and distribution of the Board of Directors Compensation and Human Resources Committee agenda and documentsMaintains an understanding of relevant regulatory and disclosure requirements including those of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), etc.Completes due diligence and ensures timely, accurate and appropriate submission of information requested by regulatory agencies, audit, and specified partnersPartners with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to achieve desired outcomesParticipates in related assignments as required

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

This is a single incumbent position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degreeEight (8) years of compensation or related experience, five (5) of them in executive compensation

Preferences

Master's degree in Human Resources or FinanceCertified Compensation Professional (CCP)

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week.  The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$166,214.95 USD

Median:

$214,280.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
