Executive Compensation Consulting Summer Intern - Dallas - College Program 2025

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Executive Compensation Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Mercer’s Executive Compensation group helps companies design, assess, and execute performance measurement and rewards strategies that reinforce business objectives. We do this by understanding our clients’ unique strategies, capabilities, and company cultures, applying our design and analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of global market practices to deliver effective results. Our clients are primarily senior executives and Board members at Fortune 500 companies. 

Within this context, we help our clients:

Analyze company and industry financial performance and calibrate pay levels to performance resultsAlign rewards with value-creating business strategiesTranslate business strategies and shareholder expectations into performance measurement and goal-setting systems (e.g., annual and long-term incentive program design)Stay abreast of regulatory developments and their implications and monitor global market trends

We will count on you to:

Perform modeling to determine the valuation and financial impact of various cash and equity incentive programsConduct financial analyses of industry sectors and client peer groupsDetermine competitive pay positioning through analysis of SEC filings (e.g. proxy statements)Collaborate with project team on most effective ways to structure analyses and present information to meet client objectivesContribute to the creation of client deliverables

What you need to have:

Progress toward a bachelor's degree    Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have an expected graduation date in the Fall of 2025 or Spring 2026Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required

Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Excel and PowerPoint   Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills    Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking to solve problems   Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful and engaging manner   Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs    Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $27/hour.
