Lyft is seeking an Executive Creative Director to guide the development and execution of creative materials (from large-scale integrated campaigns to channel-specific executions) from conception to production to build the revenue, market reputation and culture required for continuous growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Brand Marketing and Creative, this leader will foster a culture and environment conducive to producing bold experience-based ideas for the world’s greatest brands. Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end creative production - both copy and design - from brief through final delivery and performance evaluation. Help lead and manage in-house and external teams in creative strategy, execution, and production, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Manage and refine the work coming in from agencies, external teams, and contractors. Serve as a manager, mentor and team member: directing, inspiring and doing Hire, train and develop a team to deliver on our creative vision Partner with marketing teams to co-develop creative briefs, translating marketing objectives into creative direction. Work with stakeholders to break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas. Ensure final creative concepts and deliverables align with the creative brief and adhere to brand guidelines. Work closely with creative operations and project managers to establish efficient processes for the creative teams while managing expectations and relationships with stakeholders. Experience & Attributes: 12+ years with a strong background in the world of design, communication, storytelling and creativity for top-tier brands 10+ years of experience working as a Creative Director capacity at a top agency and/or in-house at a consumer brand, including oversight of designers, content strategists, and copywriters. 10+ years of experience directing the creative development of performance marketing assets for multi-channel campaigns, including in-product, social, email, display, web, direct mail, and events. Strong portfolio that includes integrated marketing campaigns, including CRM. Track record building successful partnerships across creative, marketing, and product teams. Proven history of “leveling up” creative teams by identifying opportunities to improve. You enjoy strategic vision and direction setting, but at heart, you’re a creative problem-solver and mentor. Keen attention to detail. Proven leadership ability A track record of producing award-winning work Demonstrates the ability to tell stories about brands to multiple audiences, through breakthrough visual or experiential design and creativity, with strong digital savvy. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
