Executive Creative Director (Contract to hire)
The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Creative Director (ECD) to lead and develop our dynamic, passionate, and innovative team of creatives at Wpromote. You will lead the charge in shaping and executing the strategic creative vision for our high-profile clients. Some of our notable clients include Peacock, Spanx, Vuori, Intuit QuickBooks, and TransUnion.

At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget.  The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.
This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, preference will be given to candidates based in Los Angeles. ***This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

This includes implementing best practices for consistency, creativity, and effectiveness across all projectsChampioning a culture of curiosity and innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies like Generative AI, and continuously adapting to the evolving marketing landscape Managing the creative department’s P&L, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality outcomesYou Must Have12-15+ years experience as a creative leader preferably in a competitive media and digital marketing agency setting, with a mix of large and growth-oriented brandsA proven track record in overseeing the development of omnichannel creative workA strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating expertise in creative strategy, brand management, and developing measurable, results-driven campaignsA proven track record of recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing, growth-minded, remote-first creative and design departmentExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsA high EQ, a positive mindset and a passion for creativeDeep understanding of digital, brand, and media strategies, as well as creative development processesAwareness of current industry trends and emerging technologies that leverage data and insights for unique opportunitiesProven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on delivering high-quality, growth-oriented creative solutionsA track record of pitching and closing new business, through well-designed presentation decksExperience with P&L management
