Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the Healing Hand Foundation organization’s fiscal function and performanceEvaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory actionEstablish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challengesDevelop and implement strategies aiming to promote the organization’s mission and voiceCreate business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the boardBuild an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching team of managersEnsure adherence of the organization’s daily activities and long term plans to established policies and legal guidelinesImplement annual fundraising goals through giving campaigns, grants, special events, individual and vendor mailings, planned giving, endowments, and other fundraising opportunities available to SEARHCDirect and oversee investments and all fundraising efforts for the organizationCommunicate with SEARHC Patient Experience to confirm patient requests for services/durable medical goods as neededPromote understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of HHF’s and SEARHC’s clients and programsAct as public speaker and public relations representative of the organization in ways that will continue to strengthen its profileImplement program goals achieved through community outreach; educational presentations, and public relations activities, and public relations activities that promote greater understanding of HHF’s and SEARHC’s missionForge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders and partnersMeet with HHF committees: Endowment, Fundraising/Public Relations, Executive and Steering CommitteesAccurately organize and maintain donor records in the HHF Donor DatabaseProvide follow up with each contributor with an acknowledgement and update databaseContinual evaluation of the community and seek new opportunities for donors, grants, community involvement and membership into HHFDevise remedial actions for any identified issues and conduct crisis management when necessaryPerforms other incidental and related duties as required and assignedAdditional Details:
Requirements and skills
The ideal candidate will have the following:
5+ years as an Executive Director or other similar managerial position
5+ years' experience managing budgets with demonstrated ability to articulate a financial picture to the board
5+ years leading/managing fund-raising efforts
5+ years' experience creating/deploying and leading strategic plans across an organization
5+ years serving as a visionary leader
Strongly prefer candidates with non-profit experience
Demonstrated understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
Proven ability to apply successful fundraising and networking techniques
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
