Executive Director, Insights & Analytics Ezn 

 

The US Elinzanetant (EZN) Business Analytics & Insights Lead drives high quality decisions critical to the US business through insight generation, activation and business analyses. This leader is responsible for providing strategic thought leadership and serving as the trusted advisor to the Elinzanetant Product Squad by ensuring research and analyses are aligned and relevant to the Product’s strategic priorities. This leader is also responsible for leading a cross-functional team with skilled roles that may include integrated analytics, market research, forecasting, digital and field analytics. They will develop strong insight and analytic competencies and drive the Business Analytics & Insights vision to further advance our capabilities and create competitive advantage for US Pharma. Key business analyses should also contribute to business topline and profitability.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Executive Director, Insights & Analytics Ezn, are to:

Own insights generations and key Market Intelligence deliverables for the Business:Generate insights through synthesis of multiple sources to drive Product growth;Be accountable for all major deliverables eg pilot effectiveness, situation analyses, forecasting, analytics and reporting;Identify, recommend and lead appropriate market research studies and analyses to support brand and channels;Ensure success and completeness of commercial analytics projects;Partner with Pharma leadership to help identify KPIs and set goals;Provide relevant insights and support Data team in data strategy definition;Be a primary point of contact and key advisor to the business:Ensure effective cross-functional communication and alignment on commercial analytics and insights;Partner with Finance to help generate forecast by proving insights and model assumptions (as relevant);Represent Business analytics & insights team at Product leadership forums and bring Voice of Customer perspective;Curate Product Squad relationship and receive & distribute brand requests within Business analytics & insights;Provide relevant insights and support brand strategies development (eg: brand plan, forecasts);Drive Product innovations by using analytics to uncover business opportunities; Partner with global stakeholders:Serve as a liaison between local brand and global business analytics & insights;Ensure global strategy/ initiative adaption to local market and implementation by providing inputs and ensuring alignment with LMR;Develop talent and competencies and manage the US Product business analytics & insights team:Manage and develop talent in US Product Business analytics & insights team;Identify gaps in skill sets and competencies, provide training and ensure necessary resources/staffing of the organization;Lead performance evaluations and development plan discussions; identify training plans for the group;Drive and direct US Business analytics & insights vision, strategy and team capability development;Develop integrated US brand market research plan and align with global to ensure there are no redundancies;In partnership with Product Squad head, develop and manage annual budget;Develop and implement strategies for use of key agencies, vendors and contractors to support portfolio expansion;Team Lead for portfolio Business analytics & insights projects responsible for collaborating with cross-functional team to deliver unified solutions;Cross functional Business analytics & insights representative in initiatives that spread across Products;Lead and track zero based market research budgets;The primary location for this role is Whippany, NJ.  Relocation assistance may be offered for this role.Visa sponsorship may be offered for this role.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree;Significant overall and related full-time work experience, including several years of relevant experience in pharma/healthcare commercial market intelligence (primary research, secondary research, third party data analytics, vendor management, etc);Strong knowledge of the US Healthcare environment across multiple segments and brands pertaining to Bayer’s global business;Record of professional success, demonstrated through above average performance reviews, promotions, and relevant "extracurricular" activities/ engagements;Strong analysis and synthesis skills, including experience in facilitating insight generation;Thought leadership as expressed and displayed on leading industry panels, speaker engagements and/ or widely recognized publications;Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of, and experience with relevant pharmaceutical data sources including sales data sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony, laptop/iPad detailing, Specialty Pharmacy data, formulary, etc;Strong verbal and written communication skills, as demonstrable in oral management presentations, succinct PowerPoint stories and layout, as well as structured syntheses and recommendations;Effective project management skills, as demonstrated by on-time, on-budget project delivery;Demonstrated leadership skills, including team leadership, thought leadership, and leadership awareness;

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-graduate degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) in Health-Economics, Statistics, Management Science, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred;8+ years of overall full-time work experience, of which 5+ years of relevant experience in pharma / healthcare commercial market intelligence (primary research, secondary research, third party data analytics, vendor management, etc);Relevant experience in Retail product or Women's Healthcare product is a plus.

 

This posting will be available for application until at least 07-30-2024.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $194,618 In to $291,927.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
