Job Description:
The Executive Director, Orthopedic & Rehab Services is responsible for program development, continuity and care coordination, system navigation and the
patient experience in the delivery of cost-effective high-quality care at
BHLex. The Executive Director will work collaboratively with nurses and other allied health personnel, physicians, hospital staff and administration to achieve established program goals for both Orthopedics and Rehab Services. With focus on delivering an outstanding and safe patient experience, the Executive Director
Director will utilize skills in strategic planning, consultation, education and clinical
practice achieving quality patient care and patient experience targets. This position is directly responsible for providing 24/7 accountability and leadership for Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pre-admission Testing, and Pain Management particularly regarding: 1) recruitment and retention initiatives and outcomes; 2) efficient completion of performance reviews; 3) facilitation of professional development opportunities for all department subordinates; 4) development, implementation and evaluation of related capital and departmental budgets; 5) demonstration of excellence in patient quality outcomes through provision of culturally sensitive, high quality care delivery in accordance with evidence-based practice, current research and standards of clinical practice. This position assumes direct oversight and accountability of rehabilitation practice in the assigned care settings.
Minimum Requirements:
