Executive Director – Regional Technology Lead – Corporate Centers, Philippines

As a seasoned Technology Lead, your strategic vision and proactive leadership will be instrumental in crafting and executing a world-class technology strategy. You will lead a dynamic team of innovative problem solvers, driving transformative changes that enhance processes and boost productivity across the organization. In addition to fostering internal collaboration, you will cultivate meaningful relationships with global clients and business partners to achieve strategic objectives.

As a Technology Lead in our team, you will provide technical leadership for Infrastructure Platforms (IP) and Employee Platforms (EP) products, ensuring alignment with business needs and robust infrastructure. You will deliver and support products across all Lines of Business, manage projects and programs, and oversee the operational risk environment with appropriate reporting. Your role ensures the resiliency posture of IP & EP meets the firm’s standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide senior technical leadership by overseeing local operations, liaising with business leaders and external partners, advising on technology matters, and addressing IP & EP technology issues. Work with IP & EP Product Owners and Solution Architecture teams to ensure a compliant technology roadmap, manage infrastructure capacity, maintain deployment documentation, review roadmaps with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify customer needs for product recommendations. Lead major technology programs for Philippine Corporate Centers, oversee infrastructure projects and real estate technology strategy, ensure early IP & EP involvement in strategic initiatives, and collaborate with Solutions Architecture while addressing project issues. Oversee financial management by forecasting technology budgets and tracking expenses, conduct reviews with product managers, act as a liaison for product queries, and implement strong asset management processes. Assess and manage the location's risk profile by updating risk management, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring issues with product owner approval, engaging with regulators, and managing IP & EP product vulnerabilities with product line owners. Govern technology resiliency for IP & EP products and personnel in the Philippines by ensuring up-to-date Business Impact Analyses and Continuity Plans, adequate Technology Recovery Plans, successful annual tests, executing call tree exercises, and managing crisis response with product owners through representation in Crisis Management forums. Provide oversight and mentorship to IP & EP resources, support career development programs, lead staff forums for engagement, and contribute to the JPMC support network through coaching and mentoring locally and remotely.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Minimum of 10 years IT management experience in infrastructure, preferably in financial services, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven track record of collaboration and effective leadership in discussions and meetings. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in virtual environments, with advanced knowledge of performance metrics, technical problem resolution, and risk management. Experience in data analysis to drive meaningful change and improvement, with advanced knowledge of architecture, design, and business processes. Ability to communicate and drive strategic direction, delivering technology solutions that meet internal and external needs, with a focus on customer experience. Expertise in project/program management techniques, preferably PMP certified, with a thorough understanding of business and strategic goals. Broad understanding of enterprise architecture, agile methodology, SDLC, and software development methodologies, with familiarity in virtualization, cloud foundations, and cloud technologies. Experience in large-scale multinational corporations, with knowledge of internal controls, particularly General Computer Controls (GCC), and IT risk management frameworks. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, risk management processes, and incident response methodologies, with the ability to evaluate processes and controls for risks and vulnerabilities. Understanding of business and technology resilience, incident response, and crisis management, with experience in ITSC or DR and facilitating significant projects.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC certification is an added advantage.
