Lead the way to Excellence:
Munson Healthcare is building two new Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Cadillac and Gaylord to serve our patients and provide the best care in Northern Michigan. This will be a joint venture partnership with our physician partners. The Executive Director of the Ambulatory Surgery Center manages and directs the daily operational activities of the two Ambulatory Surgery Centers which includes, planning, organizing, and coordinating the clinical and administrative operations of the Surgery Centers. What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years’ experience in a progressively complex leadership role
Minimum two years’ experience with supervisory experience with a clinical background
Master’s in health administration, business administration, public health, nursing preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of medical record systems, ambulatory surgery billing, collection procedures, credit laws and government regulations
Ability to interact with employees, clients, vendors, and corporate staff in a professional manner Ready to make a difference? Your responsibilities include:
Ability to travel and provide multi-facility oversight
Managing all aspects of Human Resources for surgery center employees, including directing and supervising all employees
In conjunction with the Medical Directors, is responsible for implementing and maintaining a quality improvement process.Managing all facets of accounting, preparation of financial statements, overseeing inventory and manages the development of the strategic plan Responsible for compliance with regulatory agency guidelines
