Corporate Workplace Technology (CWT) department within Enterprise Tech and Services (ETS) division develops applications and platforms focused on supporting the Administration division that provides various critical services across the firm, including Corporate Business Solutions, Real Estate, Property Management, Travel, Security and Investigations and several other services. CWT manages over 170 applications that are developed, managed and enhanced by the team.

Role Description
We are looking for an innovative technology client facing leader with 18 years of experience for leading department's technology operations, as well as architecturally contributing to development of firm's horizontal suite of applications built for administration. Additionally, The role will also contribute to ensuring the department's tech modernization goals are achieved. The role will ensure that technology strategies are well-coordinated and fully supporting the development of apps products, and growth within functions and lines of business. This role will also have regional responsibilities leading an India based team of 50 heads.
Qualifications
> Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or related field is required. Master's degree will be a plus.
> A minimum of 18 years of experience in Technology operations, Reliability and Production Engineering, DevOps, Modernization or related roles.
> Financial industry experience is preferred.
> International work experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities (Functional)
> To ensure the smooth performance of IT and business technologies so that business operations can proceed uninterrupted, manage all change management (e.g. Incident, Problem, Tech Change management) with a direct team of 12 SMEs
> To manage multi-regional team, ensuring the development and coverage and Manage Tier 2/3 incidents, ensuring highest levels of system availability and security
> Ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management practices are embedded within all operational practices
> Lead change while maintaining operational excellence, quality control
> Providing mentorship to product engineers and guide project team with technical solutions
> Responsible for automation system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability, hygiene and security
> Manage and optimize capacity of production systems.
> Define improvement opportunities to standardize and improve operations.
> Manages ongoing maintenance of production environments
> Contribute to disaster recovery planning and test
> Extensive technology transformation hands-on experience to drive multi year initiatives collaborating with global stakeholders.
> Ensure risks are actively managed and in line with reported dates and highlighting new risks as appropriate.

> Hire, manage, motivate and develop a highly efficient and diverse India team of Application Development and Maintenance background
> Act as a local leader and local manager for the team managing aspirations, career growth
> Performance reviews feedforward.
> Vendor Management, and leading vendor consultants to deliver projects
> People Management, Career development and Learning plans for team
Required Skills
> Experience establishing leading large scale teams, work with global and cross-functional teams.
> Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of accountability and excellence
> Experience in handling large projects involving large data sets would be desirable
> Knowledge and active use of project management skills
> Experience with Agile software development and project management methodologies.
> Good experience in Observability stack and implementation
> Strong working knowledge of overall business management principles
> Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
> Advanced knowledge and experience with software development methodologies
> Strong knowledge of the applications and solutions subordinates develop and support
> Constant curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your team members
