The Executive Director of Clinical Research leads the clinical strategy and implementation of any activities necessary for improving patient engagement in clinical research across IU Health. This leader defines strategic priorities for leaders engaged in key areas of clinical trials. This role assists in removing identified barriers to clinical trial expansion and interfacing effectively with transplant. The Executive Director serves as a partner for the work to improve the Office of Clinical Research. This position partners with departments in setting and achieving clinical trial goals. Integrates ECRO into the clinical trial strategy. This leader participates in the workstream related to development of clinical trials at to IU Health in the electronic medical record. This role leads the communication strategy for IU Health stakeholders (providers, staff, patients) around clinical trials.
