Responsibilities What You'll Do + The Executive Director of Enterprise Applications is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding V2X through critical modernization and transformation initiatives, shaping the future enterprise application landscape. This position will oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving technical innovation across the organization. Key Responsibilities: + Work closely with functional stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap for enterprise applications in alignment with the business strategy. + Develop a hybrid on-prem and multi-cloud strategy for modernizing enterprise applications. + Lead a team of 50+ IT professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on delivering superior service and customer satisfaction. + Oversee the management of the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements. + Conduct ongoing analyses for buy-build-customization decisions. + Identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, automation, and rationalization to enhance business operations. + Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges to deliver effective solutions. + Engage with vendors and partners to ensure strategic alignment and quality service. + Oversee the full application lifecycle, including development, deployment, maintenance, and support, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. + Manage resources strategically, balancing competing priorities while providing sound fiscal management, including budget oversight for staffing and expenditures. + Promote innovation within the team, drive collaboration across departments, and maintain high standards for service delivery and customer engagement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or 12+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree). + Certifications: + None listed + Experience: + A minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience in IT, including proven experience in a senior leadership role within a global Enterprise - IT environment + Extensive experience in enterprise application development, cloud modernization (M365, Azure, AWS), data migration, business process transformation, and digital transformation initiatives + Experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects. + Experience in the government contracting industry. Desired Qualifications: + Experience: + Expertise in M365, Azure, and AWS cloud-based solutions. Skills and Technology Used: + Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: + Ability to drive continuous improvement and efficiency through innovation and strategic thinking. + Ability to balance short- and long-term objectives, managing both immediate technical needs and future innovation strategies. + Business Acumen/Enterprise Applications: + Strong business acumen and ability to assess financial trade-offs with technical architecture decisions. + Proven track record with enterprise application deployment, integration, and support. + Experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects. + Business Partner/Effective Communicator: + Excellent communication and presentation skills, to include with and to executive leadership. + Collaboration and Teamwork/Influence: + Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and effectively engaging executive stakeholders at all levels. + Software: + Microsoft Office Suite + Technology: + Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
