Applications may be rejected if incomplete.* Minimum Qualifications Position Summary: The Executive Director of Assessment and Accreditation provides leadership and oversight for institutional assessment and accreditation efforts at LSUS. This position supervises the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Coordinator of Institutional Research, and an Institutional Research Analyst while working collaboratively with other assessment personnel on campus. The role ensures compliance with accreditation standards, regular reporting of assessment outcomes, and alignment with institutional goals related to strategic planning, student success, and external agency requirements. The successful candidate will liaise with program directors, academic chairs, and deans to maintain compliance, facilitate the distribution of assessment results, and promote continuous improvement in academic and administrative practices. Additionally, this position will oversee the monitoring and maintenance of faculty credentials to ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional standards. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Coordinator of Institutional Research, and Institutional Research Analyst, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with institutional goals. • Oversee institutional accreditation efforts, including preparing and submitting reports, self-studies, and responses to accrediting agencies. • Collaborate with program directors, chairs, and deans to ensure compliance with accreditation cycles and requirements. • Monitor and maintain faculty credentials to ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional standards. • Develop and implement a system for regularly reporting and distributing assessment outcomes, ensuring data informs decision-making. • Coordinate with the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction to align assessment practices with strategic planning and institutional goals. • Facilitate training and professional development for faculty and staff involved in assessment and accreditation processes. • Liaise with college assessment personnel to ensure regular compliance and alignment with accreditation standards. • Monitor and ensure compliance with SACSCOC and other accreditation standards. Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s degree and five years of experience in higher education administration, or a terminal degree with two years of experience in higher education administration. • Demonstrated knowledge of assessment practices, accreditation standards (e.g., SACSCOC), and institutional research processes. • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. • Experience in managing accreditation and assessment activities across a complex organization. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience overseeing or maintaining faculty credentials. • Served as SACSCOC liaison and/or IPEDS keyholder. • Experience with Watermark or other assessment management systems. • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across institutional units. • Knowledge of institutional research practices and their application to program evaluation and strategic planning.
