Position Overview
The Executive Director of Marketing and Engagement plays a crucial leadership role in shaping the marketing and communications strategy for the University of Pittsburgh School of Business (Pitt Business). This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that supports the School's strategic goals, enhances its national reputation, and drives student recruitment and engagement. Working closely with the Dean’s Office and senior leadership, the Executive Director ensures that Pitt Business’s marketing efforts effectively communicate its value proposition, strengthen its brand identity, and support its academic and enrollment objectives.

Facilitates and oversees the creative services function of an organization and directs a team of artists or other creative professionals who produce visual messages promoting the University and its products and services. Manages simultaneous, concurrent creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets. Develops and manages relationships with vendors or freelancers, creative personnel, and internal and external clients.
