Job Description: 


The Executive Director, APAC Operations, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Operations, is tasked with providing leadership and strategic direction for operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This role encompasses oversight and enhancement of operations in Australia, New Zealand, the ASEAN cluster, Hong Kong, China, and India, driving operational excellence and innovation while promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.  This role will a member of the Global Operations Leadership Team and APAC Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop strategies that promote the organization's mission, including crafting comprehensive business plans to meet company objectives​. Lead strategic initiatives development and execution aimed at optimizing operations and enabling profitable growth.Operational Excellence: Lead all aspects of Distribution and Logistics related matters for the company with an emphasis on improving overall supply chain efficiencies.  Collaborate cross functionally to support initiative development and execution with a focus on End to End fulfillment, network optimization, inventory productivity, and marketplace growth enablement.Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with commercial organization and directly with customers, as relevant, ensure customer needs are identify and experience is enhanced in line with business objectives.  Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean methodologies and other operational excellence practices to achieve improved productivity rates, service reliability, and capital efficiency through the existing supply chain infrastructure.Team Development and Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performance team of leaders through guidance and coaching, fostering a culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.  Drive a culture of accountability and employee engagement across all locations and disciplines; effectively manage individual and group performance to set goals and expectationsFinancial Oversight and Management: Responsibility to work with country finance and leadership to develop and achieve the Operations Annual Operating Plan and Forecast.  In additional, CapEx investment oversight with responsibility for ROI development and achievement. ESG & Compliance:  Lead the development and execution of regional ESG roadmap support Ingram’s “0 by 30” strategic initiative.  Maintain strict adherence to legal guidelines (by country), corporate governance principles, and internal policies, updating or formulating policies as necessary​.

Experience & Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of operations experience, with at least 5 at the executive level, demonstrating a track record in complex, geographically diverse organizations.Deep knowledge of supply chain management, including warehousing, distribution, and transportationDemonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on developing and retaining a diverse team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in leveraging technology and innovation to enhance operational efficiency.Knowledge of local employment practices, legal regulations across the APAC region, and corporate governance principles.Excellent organizational, communication, and public speaking skills, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; MSc/MA preferred.
