Executive Governance and Reporting Lead

To lead executive Governance and reporting for GSSC & support the CSSO with the overall location Governance, in reporting strategic agenda & progress made on those goals. This role will maintain and create alignment to the Group strategy and GSSC & create governance to monitor, analyze and report relevant data and information to the Board, External Groups, Senior Leadership, Peers, and employees. The role will support the CSSO, GSSC Senior leadership team and divisional senior leadership teams to embed strong executive governance, creating white papers, decks, board papers, artifacts related to all executive activities. The role will need deep understanding of the Overall GSSC Business, Divisions and is able to keep abreast with all the changes/progress made in the locational and divisional teams. As an added task, this role will also be a backup of the Business Manager, and fill in for all Events, Meetings, Governance aspects done by the Business Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and implementing an overall GSSC executive governance framework.
•Prepare executive level communications and presentations to assist in executive governance forums for CSSO.
•Develop GSSC packs and reports for executive purposes such as Board Forums or Investor Relations.
•Research and understand the success factors of the business, areas for improvement, key risks, and opportunities, internal and external, and build insights/documentation to support.
•Create papers/models based on trends, insights to provide the GSSC CSSO.
•Help Design business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
•Support GSSC performance governance framework
•Co- Lead center-wide initiatives and improvements across business functions to achieve overall business outcomes.
•Gather, analyze, and interpret external and internal data to continuously assess alignment to the global business environment and internal goals and objectives.
•Help CSSO with the appropriate insights to make decisions for various business needs, local and global environment.
•Develop, support, and collaborate with other business units on GSSC policies and procedures as necessary in relation to achieve center-wide business outcomes.
•Work with the CSSO, SLT and Business Manager to develop key success indicators and measures for each of the strategic initiatives.
•Build and maintain a network of relationships in the local BPO/Captive and Insurance Industry to ensure awareness of the local landscape and potential impacts to business performance and possible opportunities.
•Provide thought and change leadership to foster a culture of outperformance and transformation.
•Support CSSO with documentation on special projects, governance and insight related to,
• to but not limited to:
•Compliance to QBE policies, procedures, relevant legislation.
•Project and change management frameworks.
•Refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures.
•Industry standards and practices to stay on top of the latest trends, tools and policy.
•Industry and market research and prepare point of views for presentation to senior leadership team.
•Work across the GSSC Strategy and Business Operations Team to build an effective reporting and governance for the GSSC Strategy and Business Operations Function.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 10+ years relevant experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills

• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
•Strong Governance and organizational management skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
•Excellent in networking and dealing with senior leadership team, capable of establishing and maintaining relationships across the business, internal and external, and influencing design and policy where required.
•Confident, credible, and capable of offering insightful commentary and advice to business leaders and peers and team members.
•Pragmatic issue resolution capability in variety of disciplines
•Effective stakeholder management

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge of structured communication approach
•Strong knowledge of the BPO/captive business eco-system and the different factors that drive success.
•Strong understanding of external/environmental factors and its impacts to business operations
•Fundamental knowledge of business consulting methods
