THE JOB:
The Executive Host is responsible for supporting the retention of the property's casino customer base while streamlining processes to deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires sound judgment in fulfilling casino customer requests, ensuring all actions align with MGM Resorts International's marketing policies, practices, and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Assess customers' casino activity to determine appropriate incentives and, if authorized, approve a minimum amount of complimentary offerings and allowances (e.g., hotel stays, dining, beverages, event tickets, promotional chips, free play, airfare, or discounts).
Support the growth and retention of the property's customer base by engaging and building relationships with guests.
Ensure guests from assigned regions receive a warm welcome at check-in and check-out, providing personalized service throughout their stay to enhance their experience.
If authorized, establish marker authorization limits for eligible customers.
Participate in special events as needed to support marketing efforts and engage with customers.
Safeguard highly confidential customer information, ensuring guest privacy and restricting the release of details per company policies.
Address and resolve customer concerns and disputes to meet both guest satisfaction and company standards.
Adhere to all local regulations, including Title 31, and complete all required compliance and training sessions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and works effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.
Flexible in working a variety of shifts.
Maintains a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with MGM Resorts International Marketing standards.
Proficient in navigating and utilizing computer programs efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of prior work experience required.
2+ years of experience in hotel operations, casino marketing, VIP services, or table games preferred.
