Position:  Prepared with a keen knowledge of The Resort at Paws Up luxury accommodations, public areas and high service standards, the Executive Housekeeper Glamping will work with Supervisors, inspectors, Room Attendants, Housemen, and maintenance technicians to ensure that all accommodations and public areas are prepared and maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and quality. In addition, all housekeeping services provided to guest are performed in conjunction with Forbes Luxury Service Standards. Outside of Glamping season, this position will act on behalf of the Director of Housekeeping for the Main Village as well as greeno. What We Offer: + Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance + 401K with Employer Match + Paid Time Off – 9 Floating Holidays and 15 Personal Days + Career Development and Advancement Opportunities + Life Insurance, Long Term, and Short-Term Disability + Employee Assistance Program (5 free counseling sessions) + Referral Bonus Program (Get paid $250 to recruit) + Carpool Reimbursement ($5-$20/Day) + Employee Discounts on Merchandise (30% on select items in our retail store) + Employee Lunch Provided Check it out for yourself! https://youtu.be/FvGzdXJubf8 Primary Functions and Responsibilities • Train and onboard new housekeeping staff members. • Oversee all hiring and disciplinary action for housekeeping staff. • Daily review of arrival reports for incoming guests to ensure that special needs are met. • Assign daily housekeeping staff into teams and provide daily team schedules based upon occupancy. • Ensures Managers, team leads, housemen, and inspectors are aware of special guest requests, and are prepared with occupancy reports, guest activity schedules, and arrival departure times. • Ensuring all staff members are present and properly groomed each shift. • Inventorying and requisitioning cleaning supplies and guest amenity supplies. • Maintaining the cleanliness of the housekeeping department, including upkeep of department stock item and placement of clean linens. • Constant communication with the Front Desk and Glamping teams throughout the day keeping all parties aware of the clean status of homes. Be prepared to make changes to daily team schedules if needed to ensure check-in times are met. • Perform or delegate arrival inspections on all Cabins/Tents to ensure that accommodations are cleaned and staged to meet Paws Up and Forbes Standards prior to guest arrival. • Inspecting periodic daily service &/ turndown cleans to ensure that Forbes standards are being met. • Inspecting Public Areas throughout the day to ensure that Forbes standards are being met. • While inspecting Cabins/Tents document and correct deficiencies found in the accommodation or call back housekeeping teams to correct deficiencies when appropriate. Manage a quality control inspection point chart to be filled out daily to measure team accomplishments and deficiencies daily based upon arrival, daily and turndown inspections. • Always be prepared to address guest inquiries, complaints in a professional and timely manner. Be prepared to converse with guests at a high level at any time. • Ensure confidentiality and security of visited rooms/homes. • Track and store all lost and found items left in camps or public areas. • Maintain direct contact with the front desk and maintenance during shift; report and follow up on any problems or repairs needed. • Ensure all maintenance repair items are reported as soon as possible. Responsible for tracking all outstanding work orders, replacement items and guest damaged items internally in the housekeeping department as well as reporting items to the appropriate department • Control expenses by the housekeeping department ensuring that all supplies are properly tracked. • Manage labor- Responsible for ensuring that no unnecessary staff hours are being accumulated, including unapproved overtime. • Review all guest feedback and create action steps as necessary including personally following up with guest. • Schedule cleaning for Public Areas and public area attendants in conjunction with special events. • Act as quality controller for linens and terry. Removing pilled, stained, or old linens as necessary and track disposed of linens for repurchasing needs. • Work in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all OSHA standards. • Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.
