Wage: $30-40/hr

Private family is looking to hire a full-time Executive Housekeeper with extensive experience in high-end households. They are looking for detail-oriented, proactive self-starter who excels in both routine and specialized cleaning tasks, upholds the highest standards of cleanliness and offers elevated services to the principals and guests.

The Executive Housekeeper should have excellent communication skills and be able to anticipate the needs of the home, the principals and guests.

Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the interior on large multi building estate Care for all household laundry; handwashing, ironing, pressing, and steaming of fine garments and linens. Manage all dry-cleaning Develop and implement cleaning schedules. Maintain a project list and strategically plan deep cleaning and organizational projects when the family is traveling Event support, elevated table settings and service Care for fresh flowers Manage inventory of household supplies Minor care of the family pets (organize toys, feeding) Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family 4-6 weeks per year of travel to Palm Beach is required

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a similar position in a private home with a desire to offer five-star service. Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction Excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials and furnishings Ability to work both independently and as part of a team – all hands-on deck, lead by example attitude. Superior communication skills: strong English is required Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed

 Overview

Property Details: Seasonal home situated on a 350-acre estate. The estate includes 10 buildings, including maintenance facilities. Candidate will not live on-site but commute to the property. Compensation and Benefits: Hourly Rate: $30–$40, with overtime paid at 1.5x the regular rate for hours over 40 per week. 401(k) match, free health care, dental, vision, and PTO (10 days annually). Includes 13 public holidays; if working a holiday, that time is added to PTO. Paid travel for work-related needs (company credit card provided). Work Schedule: Flexible hours, allowing the employee to choose their start and finish times when the family is not in residence (10 months per year). During family visits (July–August and occasional winter events), work hours adjust to meet the estate’s needs, with early starts and late finishes. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance available for heavier tasks. Travel Requirements: The employee may be invited to travel. All travel expenses (flight, hotel, rental car) are covered. Employees receive advance notice for travel and are not required to go but encouraged. Ideal Candidate: Experienced in estate management, housekeeping, or similar roles. Examples include hotel supervisors transitioning to private estate management or candidates with a proven career in housekeeping. Preference for seasoned professionals who understand the unique demands of maintaining a high-standard property. Additional Notes: Initial onboarding may include a one-week trip to Florida to familiarize the new hire with the family and operations.
