Executive Managing Director - Commercial

Our clients range from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. **Cayuse Talent Solutions (CTS)** is a subsidiary for the Commercial business, and it is the business unit in which our contractors are housed to support our clients. **Responsibilities** **The Work** The Executive Managing Director – Commercial’s primary focus is to ensure strategic management, development, oversight, and overall performance of Cayuse’s commercial subsidiaries are on track to achieve their goals. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations focusing on the companies’ success. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse. **Key Responsibilities** + Responsible for formulating and executing strategies, overseeing operations and managing commercial subsidiaries, providing overall leadership and direction. + Plan and monitor day-to-day business activities. + Plan, implement and manage the overall long-term business plans and organizational goals. + Supervising and collaborating with Directors and other senior managers. + Review financial and operational performance of the organization, manage operational budgets to promote profitability. + Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients. + Manage staff and provide guidance, supervision and support as needed. + Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards and policies. + Building an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers. + Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile. + Other Duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent field from an accredited college or university required; and + At least 10 years of experience in leadership role, preferably in government contracting. + Proven experience in government contracting practices. + Highly organized. + Strong leadership and management skills. + Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. + Project management experience. + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. + Deep understanding of the business and its operations. **Skills** + Strong attention to detail. + Strong Strategic and problem-solving skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Must possess organization and project management skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Ability to work well independently or in a team setting. + High proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office; including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other general software applications. **Reports to** **:** CEO **Working Conditions** + Professional remote environment + Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. + Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. + Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines. + Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace + May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes. + May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours. **Other Duties:** _Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
