The Executive Meeting Manager position with The Charles Hotel may be a great way to make an impact and realize your potential.
In this role, the Executive Meeting Manager sells and markets the services and entertainment offered by The Charles Hotel. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
The Executive Meeting Manager is a bonus eligible position with the potential to earn up to 40% of his/her annual base salary or base wages (“Bonus-Eligible Earnings”). Bonuses will be measured and paid on a quarterly basis, based on Bonus-Eligible Earnings actually earned during the respective Plan Quarter.

ResponsibilitiesAs Executive Meeting Manager, you will
Combine your experience, knowledge of property capabilities, and passion for innovation to elevate the guest experience and optimize property function space and resources. Manage all aspects of event details and related activities, actively listening and effectively responding to client and guest need and associate challenge.Exercise your understanding of hotel offerings to plan, masterfully sell, and detail all aspects of event orchestration for optimal guest experience, recurring sales opportunities, and sales goal revenue achievement.Keep communication flowing and transparent between client, hotel departments, and external resources, ensuring expectations are clear and services are delivered without flaw ensuring a “wow” guest experience.QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school education or equivalent is required, with a four-year college degree helpful.A minimum of two years’ experience in a related position is also required.Advanced knowledge of Catering Sales and Food and Beverage industries is expected.Effective verbal and written English communication skills are necessary to be successful in this position.Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable consistent reliable and courteous communication Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughnessHigh levels and respect for other company functions and the ability to work well with them as a teamRequires regular use of a computer, business equipment and softwareStrong computer skills especially in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Delphi and Opera PMSExceptional written and verbal communication skillsRan large events before and knows what it takes to create and execute a great event. Proven organizational capabilities to successfully execute a multi-day event requiring coordination across numerous teamsAbility to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlinesExcellent organizational planning and project management skillsAbility to work a varied schedule that includes evenings nights and weekendsFast-paced, full mobility, continuous standing and the ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds is required. Limited local travel may be required.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully achieves booking goals on a quarterly and annual basis of The Charles Hotel.Serve as primary hotel contact for information for all outside inquires and guest requests answering related questions efficiently and providing full follow through to resolution.Solicit and promote all in-room amenity programs for special occasions…birthdays life cycle events etc...Assists with any required daily weekly monthly and year-end reports as required by either the sales or entertainment departmentsSupport any administrative or special project needs as directed by Management TeamMaintain consistent communication internally and throughout the hotel's operating departments.Liaise with Director of Catering and Director of Sales & Marketing to effectively plan and execute special events and initiatives including holiday activations or large reservationsKeeps an accurate history file of each event; writes follow up correspondencePerform other duties as requested by management.
