About Global Marketing
Led by the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm’s future growth. As such, Goldman Sachs has built out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of a number of centers-of-excellence, in areas such as Brand, Media, Content, and Design, as well as marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this team collaborates to bring a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.
Within Global Marketing sits the Design team, which is charged with upleveling the design craft of our marketing output and modernizing our visual design experiences. They do this by:
Keeping current the firm’s approach to design strategy, execution, and a single UX design system, to ensure modernity and ease of use across touchpointsPartnering with brand and business marketers to apply brilliant design skills to marketing efforts, ranging from ongoing campaigns, to individual social media assets, collateral and publications, and eventsBringing together a community of designers sitting across the firm to govern around brand and design guidelines; share work and best practices; and foster connections and talent developmentRole Summary

To that end, we’re looking for an experienced Visual Designer to deliver world-class design solutions befitting a remarkable firm and brand. The ideal candidate will have a background that blends brand design and digital experience, with a book filled with contemporary craft of the highest caliber. They are an active collaborator and hands-on visual design practitioner who can deliver pioneering solutions that are as on-brief as they are on-point, focused on interpreting an invigorated Goldman Sachs brand into compelling visual experiences. You will work with a passionate team of peers that span brand marketing, design systems, video, and product design – both centrally and across the breadth of the firm..
Role and Responsibilities
Execute and implement the brand’s visual identity across diverse global platforms, touchpoints, and expressions.Lead day-to-day brand and marketing design projects – spanning digital properties, content, social media, collateral, and experiential – from print to all screens large and small.Partner with marketing leaders, cross-functional teams, and agency partners to develop and deploy design-focused campaigns and brand experiences.Evangelize and showcase the firm’s brand, visual identity, and design system to establish and uphold standards of excellence for design at Goldman Sachs.Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading end-to-end design projects in an agency and/or Fortune 500 corporate environment.Detail obsessed with a portfolio of work that demonstrates best-in-class craft across digital and non-digital content, campaigns, and products.Experience in financial services or similarly complex businesses delivering outcome-oriented work that works.Able to provide concise and focused rationale to communicate concepts and design treatments through persuasive written and verbal storytelling.About Us

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
