Executive Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

Creates, develops, prices and implements new cakes, pastries, desserts, baked goods and chocolates throughout the Hotel, including the PML Boutique.  Trains, coaches and develops his assistants and all chefs on his team. Adheres to all relevant health and safety codes as stipulated by the Hotel and the local health authorities (FEHD). Fully supports and contributes to the company’s CSR initiatives. Conducts public and private cooking classes as required. Expected to work flexible shift duties according to operational needs.

Requirements:

Relevant working experience as Executive Pastry Chef in a sizable luxury hotel, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity. Fine dining background is an advantage. Good command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Strong leadership skill
