Overview As the Executive Planning Director, you will be responsible for leading strategic planning efforts across key client accounts and guiding a team of planners to deliver breakthrough, insight-driven communication strategies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s strategic direction and driving client growth through consumer insight, brand positioning, and innovative thinking. Responsibilities Lead the development of brand, communication, and campaign strategies across major client accounts. Oversee and mentor a team of strategy and planning professionals to ensure consistently high-quality strategic output. Translate business challenges into clear strategic opportunities and creative briefs. Provide thought leadership to both clients and internal teams through consumer insights, cultural trends, and market intelligence. Collaborate closely with creative, media, digital, and data teams to ensure integrated strategic thinking. Build and maintain strong senior-level client relationships as a trusted strategic advisor. Contribute to new business development through strategy-led pitch leadership and presentations. Drive innovation in planning methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of strategic excellence within the agency. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in brand strategy, communications planning, or related roles within advertising, marketing, or consulting. Proven track record of leading successful campaigns and strategic initiatives for major brands. Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to mentor and inspire. Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and presentation abilities. Deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand architecture, media, and digital trends. Native in Korea and fluent in English is a strong advantage
