The Executive Producer works as part of the news management team, supervising news content across all media platforms, and line producing newscasts and special projects when necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for evaluating stories; organizing them into a cohesive sequence within a newscast or digital content for the webDefine strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial objectivesManage newsroom, contribute to the editorial process and help lead in breaking news situationsExecute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devicesResponsible for successful marketing of projects and adherence to budget

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film or the equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years’ experience in television or radio broadcast/productionMust be able to interact well with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staffDetail orientedExcellent verbal, written and analytical skillsStrong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectationsUtilize state-of-art television technology
