WPHL-TV is looking for an Executive Producer for our morning news!Job Description:The morning Executive Producer supervises news content across all media platforms.Responsible for evaluating stories; organizing them into a cohesive sequence within a newscast or digital content for the webDefine strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial objectivesManage newsroom, contribute to the editorial process and make solid decisions in breaking news situationsExecute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devicesEnsure news coverage is in sync with news brandingMaintain schedule of airing of news packagesApprove news packages and other content for airEnsure sponsored news content airs appropriatelyResponsible for successful marketing of projects and adherence to budgetMust be able to fill-in line produce a newscast when necessaryQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/film or equivalent.At least five years experience in television or radio broadcast/productionMust be able to interact well with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staff.Must be detail orientedExcellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.Strong news judgement. journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations.Utilize state-of-the-art television technology.
