Executive - Production

Primary Objective

•           To achieve the packaging targets as per scheduler.

•           To monitor the shift activities as per quality compliance.

•           To build good work environment among all packaging staff to have healthy relations in between.

•           To assume responsibility to improve efficiency and quality of packaging. 

Major Responsibilities

•           Supervise the production activities in 3 shift working.

•           Direct the efforts of the operators in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.

•           Take responsibility for the career development /planning and performance discussed of the team members.

•           Ensures the effective management of activities in area of responsibility.

•           Resolve quality issues, ensure corrective action plans are initiated and monitored.

•           Track and assist department in achieving company’s KPI.

•           Maintain good connect with shop floor team (Technician),partner HR in grievance redressal mechanism and ensuring harmonious industrial relations all throughout.

•           Manage line or production scheduling and plan work force utilization to ensure efficient use of the company resources and timely delivery to customer.

•           Initiate project to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the lines and departments.

•           Interpersonal skills in order to have healthy relationship with colleagues working in different functions at site.

•           Communication skills in order to understand and provide necessary feedback or solutions within the Manufacturing  team and internal customers.

•           To have  in-depth understanding of packaging operations & Hygiene/GMP to  provide the best output at shop floor & adhere to all compliances of food safety related concerns in Manufacturing department for maintaining food safety in plant. .

•           Decision making skills in order to handle the problems involved at Site.

•           Ensure self and team members consistently follow all EHS rules and procedures.

•           Ensure self and team members immediately report any EHS incident and/or near misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision.

•           Attend all required safety training and medical surveillance program requirements.

•           Ensure self and team members wear all required PPE.

•           Consistently take a leadership role in identifying team members who are and are not following procedures

•           Complete required STOP observations

•           Incur zero injuries of self and team members as a result of unsafe action/behavior or failure to follow established procedures or guidelines.

•           Identify and report to supervision opportunities to reduce energy and water use, waste generation within your  work area

Education

•           Bachelor of Science Degree in  Dairy Technology/Process Engineering/mechanical/Food science or Diploma with minimum 2 to 5 yrs experience.

•           2 to 3 yrs of relevant experience in Dairy/Process engineering/packaging/Food/Mechanical/Instrumentation or equvilant combination of education and work experience

•           Sound people management.

•           Good understanding of production and/or material operations.knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques.

•           Knowledge in lean manufacturing or six-sigma methodologies.

•           Being proficient in Gujarati is advantage
