The Opportunity:

The Executive Recruiting Lead is a pivotal role within the Executive Recruitment & Pipelining AoP. This position creates the Executive Recruitment strategy, resources, and practices within the EMEA/APAC region or the Americas region. The leader is accountable for the overall hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the executive recruitment process, ensuring that each interaction is handled with the utmost care, discretion, and attention to detail.

This leader will uphold the highest standards, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative measures to ensure success. They will be an exceptional coach and developer of talent, reinforcing compliance in the team's use of tools and processes. Additionally, this leader, in collaboration with the AoP leadership team, is responsible for fostering high levels of collaboration across IWS and the broader People & Culture (P&C) organization.

Who you are:

Previous leadership experience: Proven track record of leading a team of seasoned Executive Recruiters.  Experience in coaching, developing and hiring employees in a high performing organization. Holds a high bar when it comes to expectations, measuring and differentiating performance.

Extensive Executive Recruitment Experience: Significant experience in executive recruitment, particularly within the biopharma and diagnostics sectors, showcasing strong business acumen. Proven success in managing intricate full-cycle executive search projects at senior levels (VP and above).

Passion for Executive Recruitment:  Demonstrated history of exceeding expectations to establish and elevate an executive recruitment function.

Recruitment Strategy: Proven background in crafting strategies to amplify the impact and effectiveness  of executive recruitment initiatives.

Stakeholder Management: Expert in forging robust partnerships with leaders. Skilled in consulting with executive-level stakeholders, engaging in comprehensive, business-focused discussions, and advising on the attributes of "best-in-class" leaders.

Talent Sourcing: Proficient in identifying and engaging top external talent. Skilled in managing candidate sourcing and research processes with an understanding of best-in-class executive sourcing practices.

Assessment Expertise:Expert in conducting data-driven assessment processes at senior levels to identify high-potential candidates.

Influencing and Interpersonal Skills: Adept at influencing and tailoring communication styles to various stakeholders. Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive, results-driven mentality.

Team Development: Self-motivated leader with strong team leadership capabilities, a pronounced service orientation, and excellent problem-solving skills. Proven ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Industry Expertise:Comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, particularly within the biopharma and diagnostics sectors. Possesses substantial executive recruiting experience and deep insights into specific functions.

Global Experience:Well-versed in recruitment processes and tools within a global, complex, and diverse environment. Adept at operating effectively in a global headquarters setting.

Language Skills: Exceptional fluency in both spoken and written English.

Relocation Benefits are available for this job posting and this role will be on site in South San Francisco Genentech campus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $164,500 and $305,500.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
