Overview Job Overview: The Executive Steward role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stewarding or kitchen management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Job Specification: Onsite: Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $90,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. Job Responsibilities but not limited to: Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring all kitchens, dining areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and in excellent condition. Manage a team of stewards, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure staff adhere to sanitation and safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate activities and streamline operations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for cleaning and maintaining all kitchen equipment and utensils. Conduct regular inventory checks and manage the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and maintaining records of department activities. Address any issues related to maintenance in a timely and effective manner. Foster a teamwork-oriented environment that promotes efficiency and high morale. Assists Food & Beverage Director in establishing budget goals and objectives and monitoring financial aspects of the department Calculate, analyze, and minimize labor costs Qualifications Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring all kitchens, dining areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and in excellent condition. Manage a team of stewards, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure staff adhere to sanitation and safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate activities and streamline operations.
