The primary function of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Clinical Exercise Physiologist Outpatient is to implement and supervise the physical exercise program in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. The Exercise Physiologist assists in the development and enhancement of comprehensive cardiovascular rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and related programs for Cardiolvascular Services that meet established AACVPR, AHA, and ACSM standards. Clinical responsibilities include providing instruction on and monitoring of exercise therapy, development and consultation of exercise prescriptions, exercise and risk factor modification education both in the classroom and indivdually.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree From an accredited four-year degree program in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Related work experience in clinical exercise physiology required. 1 year Proficiency in EKG monitoring and rhythm recognition.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree. 2 years Clinical exercise physiology and/or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation preferred.Why Join Providence?
